I2AT took honors at recent Microscopy Society of America national meetings. Research Associate Amanda Lawrence was given the Morton D. Maser award for her service to the organization. On July 1 students participating in the Materials Science and Engineering REU program paid a visit to Steel Dynamics in Columbus, MS to see their flat roll steel production.steel engineering groups
